"Let's write newsletters!"
Kester said during one of our many brainstorming sessions on how to build a growth-centered community under SACRED.
I (Kavitha) loved the idea and told Kester how, to this day, I year for a newsletter that shares stories that expand my perspectives on life, and empower me with the skills to truly thrive!
These days, newsletters are often used to sell ABC or XYZ company's products. They may include a mention of a social or environmental cause, or highlight stakeholders who benefit from your purchase.
Yet, I often find myself questioning: "While it's great to support others' causes, what value does any of this add to my life?" The answer: absolutely nothing! I call these newsletters 'noise'.
I wanted our newsletters to be different. "How about calling it SACRED Saturdays?" I suggested to Kester. He smiled.
